GENERAL INFORMATION

The cottage is situated on a family farm, surrounded by a rich variety of wildlife animals that inhabit the surrounding fields and forests. We have some of the region's rarest birds for you to view, so be sure to bring your binoculars!

The Highveld Trout Cottage is a self-catering cottage fully equipped with everything you need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. From the kitchen to the living area, we've thought of everything to make you feel at home.

We take pride in our fly-fishing venue and regularly stock our two dams with Brown and Rainbow trout. Please note that it is a strictly fly-fishing venue. 

In addition to fly-fishing, we have a walking trail called "The Hippo's Trail" situated close to the cottage on the farm. It's a great way to explore the area and immerse yourself in nature.
